Hello there

Yes, we are into February already.  Hope everyone had a pleasant Christmas and New Year.

Numbers were down a little in January, possibly due to the hot nights. It was hot in the hall and the sea breeze doesn’t come into the hall. Would be nice if it was air conditioned, we can dream…..

The new Committee has set the theme nights for the first half of the year. We hope everyone can attend.

            Feb 10^th           Valentine’s Day                                  May 5^th           Mother’s Day

            Mar 17^th          Saint Patrick’s            Day                             June 23^rd         Mid-year Dinner

            Apr 21^st           ANZAC Day

I would like to welcome some new members to the club. They are:-

Joan McGrath, Doug Clyne, Stan McIlwain, Patricia Ferguson, Lorna Cutcliffe, Ken Atcheson, Verna Matthews, Barry Matthews and Nola Adam.

It has been suggested splitting some dance brackets into two dances. We will try this with say 3 brackets, the rest remain as is. This will be a trial and I would welcome any feedback on this.

I would welcome suggestions for new dances for discussion by the Committee Meeting on March 3^rd, if we have someone to demonstrate.
